If you’ve done PPC advertising then you know that one of the most difficult aspects of PPC Ads is the inability to actually know who is viewing your ad. This, however, is where FaceBook Ads really shine. Not only does  Facebook bring over 400 million active users to the party, their profile demographics are the best, hands-down. Using these demographics your ads can be fine-tuned to target your audience precisely and significantly lower your cost per click. That’s powerful stuff. Want some more great reasons to like FaceBook PPC ads?  Well then dear reader, read on.

You may not have heard of it yet but Pinterest is one of the more popular and more powerful up-and-coming social media websites on the net today. It’s no FaceBook or Twitter yet but it’s already passed Tumblr and is grabbing a huge hold on the female demographic. For those not in the know Pinterest is a social ‘pinboard’ where ideas, articles and all sorts of other interesting stuff can be ‘pinned’ and, like all social sites, easily shared among the masses. The main difference between Pinterest and the others is that there’s no real push to form social ‘connections’ there but mainly to pass around interesting information, and that’s why Pinterest is such a great tool to spread the word about your products or services.

In this day of social media, video marketing and Blogs of every description Newsletters may seem like a quaint but somewhat useless throwback to the past. The fact is, however, that Newsletters are more than ever a powerful and persuasive tool for reaching out to your customers, increasing repeat traffic and growing your business. A Newsletter is like a direct telephone line to your customer base.  If you fill it with useful, relevant information you will not only give them something to read you will create something that they look forward to reading.

Why is Google + more popular than FaceBook? Recently an online poll showed that Google + was more popular than FaceBook among users of social media. Now, to be sure, I’m not active on Google + but I found the results of this poll to be very intriguing.  You see, I really wasn’t aware that Google + was all that similar to FaceBook social media-wise but the poll results made me think differently.  With that in mind I started doing some research to find out what the similarities were and to see for myself if Google + possibly had something better than FaceBook.  Much to my surprise I believe that they do, and I believe it won’t be long before Google + gives FaceBook a slap to the face (pun definitely intended) as it beats them at their own game. Below you’ll see why Facebook may have some stiff competition just around the corner.
